* Gitanjali Gems is the scrip to watch as the gem and stone exports get a new life in the export policy document. * Local players are treading where even FIIs feared to tread trade! Look at the volume statistics of deliveries by FIIs and local MFs in lesser known scrips. * TTML, Chambal Fertilisers and Ispat Industries are once again in the limelight. The old hands are working on it. * GMR Infra has a long way to go if the rumours of the development of 38 airports is true. * GTL is a scrip to watch going by its FY08 results. * Micro Technologies has tied up with MTNL to offer Micro LMTS (Lost Mobile Tracking System) to secure 2 million mobile handsets of MTNL subscribers. The scrip is being accumulated by few HNIs. * Bihar Caustic has commissioned its 60 TPD stable bleaching powder plant. The scrip is available cheap at an EV/EBIDTA of less than 3 times and P/E ratio of 4 despite being an Aditya Birla group company. * Eastern Silk may surprise the market by announcing robust numbers for March 2008 quarter on 23rd April. बिकवाली से सोना और चांदी टूटे

Apr 19, 07:49 pm नई दिल्ली। ग्लोबल मंदी के बीच स्टाकिस्टों की भारी बिकवाली के चलते स्थानीय सराफा बाजार में शनिवार को दोनों कीमती धातुओं के दाम लुढ़क गए। यूरो के मुकाबले डालर के उबरने की खबरों से लोगों का सोने के प्रति मोह कम हुआ। इसके चलते इसके भाव 325 रुपये की गिरावट के साथ 12060 रुपये प्रति प्रति दस ग्राम पर बंद हुए। औद्योगिक मांग कमजोर पड़ने से चांदी की कीमतें भी 650 रुपये की गिरावट के साथ 23550 रुपये प्रति किलो हो गईं। वैसे देश में इस समय शादी-विवाह का मौसम चल रहा है। ऐसे में प्राय: सोने-चांदी के दामों में तेजी देखी जाती है। न्यूयार्क में सोने के भाव 27.20 डालर गिरकर 915.20 डालर और चांदी के भाव 48.5 सेंट टूटकर 17.82 डालर प्रति औंस बंद हुए। इसका असर घरेलू बाजार पर पड़ा। स्थानीय बाजार में सोना आभूषण के भाव 325 रुपये लुढ़ककर 11910 रुपये प्रति दस ग्राम बंद हुए। गिन्नी के भाव 50 रुपये टूटकर 9900 रुपये प्रति आठ ग्राम बंद हुए। चांदी साप्ताहिक डिलीवरी के भाव 610 रुपये की हानि के साथ 23290 रुपये प्रति किलो बंद हुए। चांदी सिक्का के भाव 100 रुपये टूटकर 26600-26700 रुपये प्रति सैकड़ा बंद हुए।

डाबर 73 फीसदी हिस्सेदारी बेचेगी

Apr 19, 09:12 pm नई दिल्ली। दवाई बनाने वाली घरेलू कंपनी डाबर फार्मा अपनी 73.27 फीसदी हिस्सेदारी को सिंगापुर स्थित कंपनी फ्रेसिनियस काबी पीटीई लिमिटेड को बेचेगी। इस खरीदारी के बदले फ्रेसिनियस डाबर के शेयरधारकों को 76.50 रुपये प्रति इक्विटी शेयर के हिसाब से भुगतान करेगी। फ्रेसिनियस काबी जर्मनी की हेल्थकेयर फर्म फ्रेसिनियस एसई की सहायक कंपनी है। डाबर फार्मा ने पहले इस बात का खंडन करती रही है कि वह जर्मन दवा कंपनी के साथ साझीदारी या बिक्री के लिए कोई बातचीत कर रही है।

* Royal Orchid Hotels has acquired 50% stake in Galaxy Beach Resort, Goa while Panoramic Universal took over Rishi Garden Resort, Karnala near Mumbai. Both are decent picks in the hospitality sector. * To take advantage of the sharp correction & cheap valuation, promoters of Indo Asian Fusegear are making preferential allotment of 19 lakh warrants to themselves. At a market cap of mere Rs.150 cr., it’s a screaming buy. * I-flex solutions plans to change its name to Oracle Financial Services, which will add value to the stock as it will be the only Oracle entity listed outside USA. A value stock with good buy-back possibility in future. * Speciality Papers has announced 1:1 bonus and record date is 16th April 2008. The company has acquired running paper companies and increased the turnover substantially. * Zicom Electronics security systems has major plans lined up. At the current level of around Rs.125, the stock is a good value buy. * Khoday India has corrected substantially and can be considered for decent appreciation. Mudra Lifestyle Ltd. (MLL) (Code: 532820) (Rs.38) has come off its high of Rs.115 and is available at a steep discount of 68% and by 54% to its IPO price of Rs.80. Based on its expansion plans, MLL’s future prospects appear bright and the share is recommended with a likely appreciation of 50% in the medium-term. MLL started operations in 1986 and is in the textile industry with facilities for fabrics & garments manufacturing, processing, design development and sampling etc. As on 31st March 2007, MLL had 177 automatic looms producing approximately 10.62 million metres of woven fabrics per annum, 700 sewing machines with capacity of 3.15 million garments per annum and processing capacity of 80,000 metres per day. MLL has in-house facilities for design studios, sampling units, weaving units, processing units and garmenting unit. It has pan India presence with a network of over 75 dealers and also supplies to various customers globally.
